We loved our stay at Jeff’s place. It’s in the perfect location in Isla – right off the main tourist drag, but far enough away for some peace and quiet. The place was exactly as described and photographed and Jennifer and Santiago were very helpful for checking and coordinating transfers. Unfortunately the weather alternated between crazy heat and hurricane bands so we never got to enjoy the patio fully but it was beautiful. Thanks Jeff!

We love rooftop rooms and were thrilled to find one in Isla! Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t very cooperative for our trip, so we didn’t get to enjoy the lovely patio & jacuzzi. However, the room was everything we needed and hoped for in our stay and we would be thrilled to book it again in the future if we return to the area! It is in a great location, just around the corner from many wonderful restaurants, shops, and music venues. Even though it was so close to the hustle & bustle of downtown, it still felt very secluded and peaceful. You will likely hear music from bands/DJs on all nights of the week… we didn’t mind that at all as we are live music fans and spent most of our nights out on the town with the local bands! The property managers, Jennifer & Santiago, were very responsive and helpful. They even accommodated an extremely early check-in! They also had many services to offer to us that we didn’t take advantage of. We highly recommend Casa de Vida Feliz & the Sol Rooftop!
La ubicación del apartamento nos pareció muy buena para ló que nosotros temíamos pensado haver que era ir a playa norte y playa centro. Ademãs estaba a 1 cuadra de la peatonal y a 200 mts de la casa de cambio. El lugar era muy fresco para contrarrestar el calor de la isla sin necesidad de tener que dejar el aire acondicionado encendido. El balcón lo no usamos porque hacia mucho calor. Es para destacar que dejaban botellón de agua potable. Yago respondió todos los mensajes rápidamente.
We loved being so close to everything. Having the entire free water jug and plush beach towels was a big plus. The unit has plates and cups utensils, and a small hot plate that also came in very handy. The unit had a small coffee pot which held approximately 2 to 3 cups of coffee. You will need to pick up/bring some ground coffee for it. It did have a washable coffee filter. The only issue we had which may be common to some areas was the Wi-Fi didn’t work most of our trip. We did have access to a local resident who helps with the property, so just keep that in mind if you are relying on Service for work, or some thing else. The AC however, was gangbusters and well appreciated . The unit stayed secure with actual Keys to access the door to the room and there was a key also to the front gate of building. We had another great visit to Isla!!

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment looked like in the photos and had enough space for two. The private rooftop was great and we spent every evening there. The apartment is well located, close to the restaurants and the beach but still very calm. Jennifer and Santiago, the property managers, were very responsive and helpful. We would definitely recommend staying here while visiting Isla Mujeres.

Incredibly accommodating….excellent concierge service – they took care of reserving tequila/mezcal tastings and golf cart rental for us. Housekeeping staff is exceptional. Great location – walkable to shops, restaurants, and beaches. Great AC and ceiling fan which is very important in Isla Mujeres. Unit is stocked with bathroom essentials Provided beach towels and beach blankets Safe & Quiet location. We will definitely stay here again.
We had a wonderful stay at Ballena Suite. The space was clean, we were provided with essentials and more (loved the beach mats and the games!), and the location was convenient and within walking distance of all the action (stores, shops, beach). The private pool was also nice touch! The only minor issue was that the address provided was not showing an accurate location, but our host Jennifer was communicative and helped us find the place.

Perfect location! Playa Norte is just a short walk away and restaurants are even closer – you’re right in the heart of El Centro. The patio was a great outdoor space to have – perfect for morning coffee or a cold drink after spending a few hours at the beach. The place also had excellent water pressure and virtually instant hot water. Jennifer and Santiago were very proactive and communicative throughout my stay. Would love to return in the future!
Great space in a great location. Beach, restaurants, ferry terminal, etc. all are walkable. Photos of the place are an exact match. Hosts are super friendly and communicate well. I saw some reviews that complained of loud noise from local bars in the evenings, but I had no trouble sleeping and honestly, the music was far enough away that it could barely be heard. You would need to be the lightest sleeper in the history of humankind for this to keep you awake or the kind of person that complains that the free $100 bill you were handed has a wrinkle… Don’t let those reviews fool you, this is a great space with average or even below average city noise. Definitely will visit this space again.

We loved our stay! Jennifer (the property manager)was absolutely amazing, very accommodating and if we had any questions she was very responsive. She speaks english so it was very helpful for us. The house is walking distance to the beach. Lots of restaurants/ night life just around the corner. You are close to everything but the house is on a quiet street. Loved the pool! So nice to go for a quick dip before bed and cool down. The casa is spotless and kitchen is very well equipped with nice utensils. We have a picky 7 year old so a kitchen is very important for us. Thankyou Jennifer for everything! You went above and beyond and we will definitely stay again!
We rented the whole house for our family of 8. We got married on the island and it was a perfect location. Each room had its own space but we were able to gather together on the main floor when needed. Very clean and the property managers are very easy to work with. Thanks for a great stay.
I stayed in this apartment for 3 nights. The wonderful apartment, large and tidy. The cleaning ladies were very kind and emptied our bins during our stay. Apartment equipped with every comfort, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, beach towels, household towels and sheets (obviously already with bed made). Fantastic private swimming pool to use outside. We almost thought we’d never go out again!!! Excellent location, in the center, a step away from Playa Norte, one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. Jennifer and Santiago super helpful, they even helped us with the choice of restaurants, bathrooms with umbrellas and sunbeds and with the tour to Contoy Island. If I were to return to Mexico I would definitely choose this accommodation again! Thank you with all my heart.

I highly recommend staying at Casa de Vida Feliz. Communication with hosts was superb, location was perfect. We booked three out of the four suites and it was perfect for our family. Close to beach and Hidalgo for eating. Would definitely book our stay here again on our next visit to Isla Mujeres.
We love this place! Perfect location! We stayed in the 3rd floor Sol apartment this time, for the outdoor rooftop space. Great furnishings, and plenty of places to dry our SCUBA gear and beach stuff. We did not use the tub. The property managers communicated before our arrival. They were there upon arrival, even though we arrived much later than expected. They allowed us a 1 hour late check-out and were present to wish us safe travels when we left. They even arranged our luggage pickup (for departure) when we arrived with the porter from the ferry. They responded to our needs quickly and had a repair done same day! This is our 2nd time staying in this space and we loved it just as much. There is music playing on Hildago, the street behind the building at night, but was not bothersome to me, as I sleep with earplugs anyway.
We were here for a week, and having stayed on the island for better than a month previously, this location was perfect. Short walk to the beach and all the fun of Centro even closer. Jenn greeted us on arrival. Pretty simple, with the necessities. Great bed, fridge, streaming TV, etc., but you aren’t going to cook here. That’s OK because there are plenty of local places to eat, starting right outside the gate. Air worked great. Nice shower. The ferry is very walkable. All in all, we’ll be back!
We stayed in October 22 and it was the perfect place to stay. This casa is on a quiet street central to everything. We felt very safe with the front gate entrance locked and our private room as well. It was also nice to have a concierge to be able to connect with on questions or room cleanings, which happened same day as requested. There is some street noise and noise from Hidalgo in the evening, but we were always so tired that it never kept us up. Room is perfect for our needs and we look forward to returning soon.
Wonderful place. They made my birthday relaxing and were swift with any questions and recommendations we needed. The dipping pool was the perfect temperature and made the incredibly hot days bearable. Right in the heart of the city!

Wow! Casa de Vida Feliz (and the Ballena suite) look even better today than they did three years ago — when I first stayed here. The property is still in an ideal location in Centro, but the upgrades and enhancements are amazing. The listing shows the new mural in the back — but it overlooks the artwork in every room (and in the hall, and the landing …). Jeff and his team have kept the property in tip-top condition, and I cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone looking for an Isla Mujeres holiday.
Jeff and Mary’s listing is the place to be! We enjoyed how centrally located it is in playa Norte. We were able to walk to the listing from the Ferry, beaches, golf cart rentals and restaurants and shops! This unit was absolutely relaxing! The perfect balance of sunlight coming in or blackout curtains offering peaceful sleeping in. I work nightshift so this was definitely a plus as far as getting good rest. Amenities are amazing in this unit and everything that was offered was greatly appreciated (purified WATER, shampoo, conditioner, soap, towels, BEACH towels). We thoroughly enjoyed everything Jeff and Mary’s place had to offer, close proximity to the fun nightlife or nighttime dip in the pool looking up at the stars! Great experience! Thank you!
Super comfortable apartment near everything! This was our second time on the Island and we thoroughly enjoyed our (Email hidden by Airbnb) communication with Jennifer (property manager) was smooth and she was very friendly and accommodating. Blocks from the ferry, beaches, restaurants, bars, great coffee next door at Cafe Cito or Elements, etc. I would recommend Jeff’s place and we would stay here again. The plunge pool on the patio was a real gem. Our kids swam fist thing in the morning and right before bed. Good times!
A great location with privacy, within walking distance to everything. Very accommodating services too. The streets below can be a bit loud into the night but it was not a bother to us on our stay.

Jeff and Mary’s place it’s really convenient for a stay at Isla Mujeres. Excellent location, cozy studio with a big and comfortable bed and even a small balcony with a hammock. The property manager, Jennifer, was really kind and went to deliver me the key and at the end of my stay to pick it up. They provide water as well which is a huge plus. I really recommend this place.

Incredible! This location and property are absolutely incredible! We feel so honored to have had the privilege to stay here. The amenities of the rooftop, Jacuzzi, huge room, beautiful murals, and there are suggestions for restaurants and places around the island were so on point. We have been coming to the island for eight years and we are finally so happy that we found this place and we will stay here in the future!

My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay at this AirBnB for our fifteenth wedding anniversary. The owner was wrapping up his own visit and was staying in the ground floor unit; he is a genuinely nice guy. The four units are all very new and the penthouse unit where we stayed was incredibly clean and comfortable. All beds in Mexico are very firm, the king sized mattress here is no exception. The location makes walking to Hidalgo super easy. Younger guests might find it a short jaunt by foot to Playa Norte but my knee is banged up so we rented a cart from Pepe’s (which is close but a little tricky because it is on Hidalgo.) While the unit was very secure, the safe in the closet provided an extra layer of peace of mind for passports and immigration documents. The whirlpool tub is a great touch and the fridge worked well. Jennifer recommended the Guru beach club and it was our favorite. Some of the best tacos we had were a few short blocks south at Humo. Breakfast at La Cazuela M&J cannot be missed and they open early. Don’t forget to tip housekeeping.
El lugar es como tal se muestra en la fotos, la alberca no es muy grande pero es lo suficiente para llegar a refrescarte, es una casa de 3 pisos, cada piso es totalmente independiente, el piso de abajo esta muy fresco y no hubo necesidad de usar el aire acondicionado, esta ubicado a una calle de los bares así como de la playa, lo recomiendo bastante!
The place is as it is shown in the photos, the pool is not very big but it is enough to cool off, it is a 3-story house, each floor is totally independent, the ground floor is very cool and there was no need to use the air conditioning, it is located one street from the bars as well as the beach, I highly recommend it!

Jeff’s communication was perfect – I had cell issues and Jeff contacted me on several platforms until we re-connected. Above and beyond. The location was absolutely perfect. Great location for spending the day at Playa Norte and finding a variety of restaurants. Jeff’s place is clean, cool and comfortable! There are coffee shops with breakfast less than a minute walk away. Check in was easy even though we were much later than originally planned. Communication was prompt.
Amazing place!!! We had a wonderful stay. The room is very cute and has its own terrasse and jacuzzi. The location is perfect. It is in the middle of everything and it is busy around the property. It didn’t bother us so much. The managers were easily reachable and serviceable. Highly recommended
If you’re thinking about renting this place, DO IT. We were a family of 4 (mom, dad, 4 year old and 12 year old) plenty of space for us to relax and not be on top of each other. The pool was a nice touch for a quick dip to cool off. We didn’t use it as much but sitting in the back patio was great, the design and planning were thoughtfully executed and tranquil. I’ve read reviews about people mentioning the noise level because of the location. If you’re renting anyplace right off the Main Street, you’re bound to have noise, however…….we did not notice any loud noise that disturbed our sleep, matter of fact, we were all well rested. We loved the location. Close to beach, golf cart rentals, shopping, and food. Communication with the host(s) was excellent. We were provided with a water cooler and refills so that was a major plus for us. The space is equipped with 2 AC units that work excellent as well as multiple fans (the fans work so well we barely used the AC which was surprising because we cannot do without our ACs in NYC during the summer. I’ve rambled enough. It’s a 10/10 for us and 2 thumbs up from our very picky 4 year old who did not want to leave.

LOVED this place – stayed here with my partner over the holiday, and really enjoyed the little balcony that overlooked the pool. It was tucked in the back, so noise wasn’t an issue, either. Walked to the beach, to breakfast, lunch, and dinner, all over the Centro from here. Had a great experience with the property owners and managers and loved meeting with them!

I stayed in Sol for 19 amazing, wonderful, incredible nights. 🙂 I was part of a large family/friend group that had different rooms at different times, and for about a week we had all of the rooms here. Words can not adequately describe how much we enjoyed our time at Casa de Vida Feliz. Sol was my favorite, and I’m definitely going to request this room again – the breeze would wind through the room, since it was on the top floor; the patio area was phenomenal (and a couple of teenage boys hooked up hammocks and slept outside a few nights!)! I very much enjoyed my morning coffee and evening wine in the comfy red Adirondack chairs. The location can’t be beat – we walked everywhere – and the owners and managers were incredibly responsive and phenomenal. In love with Sol at Casa de Vida Feliz!
This house was absolutely perfect for a stay in Isla. The location was great, there was plenty of space for 2 people, and the hosts were very communicative and helpful. I didn’t notice too much noise like other guests did. Lovely place!
Absolute 10/10! By far my most favorite place I’ve stayed on the Island. Can’t beat the location… just minutes from both beaches and right next to all of the action on Hidalgo. And the private balcony/hot tub is perfect for a pre/post evening cocktail. Would 100% stay here again next time 🙂
Beautiful space with all the amenities you could need. Pool area was a plus to relax in the morning with coffee or after a day out at the beach. Taking a nice refreshing swim was a luxury after a hot beach day. The location was fabulous in easy walking distance of everything downtown and the beautiful beaches also. It is the perfect vacation rental on Isla Mujeres.
Very clean, well appointed one bedroom with its own dipping pool. Beautiful hand painted murals and great a/c. Close and walkable to the downtown area, the beaches, shopping and so many restaurants! There was some weekend night noise but the white noise machine helped. Would definitely stay there again!

The apartment is in an amazing location, short walk to the beach, main streets for food, bars and shopping. We loved the private pool for a dip early in the morning or after the beach with the kids. Excellent air con. If we visit the island again we wouldn’t hesitate in stopping here again.
We had a great stay on the Island and really enjoyed the room being so close to everything. It was great being able to step out the door to a small convenience store, coffee shop or restaurant. Very close to the beach, easily walkable although we had a golf cart the whole trip. It was easily parked on the street outside. The neighborhood, actually the entire island, felt extremely safe. The locals were very nice, pleasant people. The room was clean and it was great to have beach towels. We didn’t have an issue with noise and I’m a light sleeper. They may have been under a curfew when we stayed but the music ended at 11. Even when it was playing, with the AC and the noise maker, we could sleep. Honestly it was, as my kids would say, a “vibe” getting to hear the sounds of the island at night. Even though it was a great location we found ourselves at the other end of the island more. It was more peaceful, less crowded, gorgeous views and great food. We travel often and love trying new restaurants and this island holds its own with good food. Mango Cafe, Fuego De Mar and the fresh baked bread at Zoetry are a must. A few things to note, I’m extremely sensitive to smoke and the room had been smoked in. It’s not terrible but we could smell it. The patio is very nice but not completely private. There’s a patio on the other side of the wall that had a pretty loud group one night. Neither would keep me from leaving 5 stars. Also, the sun comes in bright and early so don’t forget your eye cover for sleeping! We are not “maskers” and were only asked to wear one at a few restaurants just to enter, other than the locals wearing them, you can be normal here… Last thing, the ladies running the communications for this property get 5 stars! They were great and always available. They can even arrange a doctor to come to the room for your covid test. They made an small, private property feel like a 5 star hotel. Thank you ladies.
My girlfriend and I stayed three nights, and we both agree…five stars across the board. We really enjoyed our time there. The apartment was spotless, and had everything we could have needed. Communication was easy and prompt, and check-in was a breeze! Everything on the north side of the island is walkable, including the ferry port, and North and Central beaches. The main strip, Hidalgo, is one block over, so shopping, eating, and drinking is all two minutes away. The private pool is refreshing, and is the perfect way to cool off, after a walk around the hood. Also, there is a nice place for coffee and breakfast, Elements, about three doors down (they make a great latte). I’m not sure what else to say, other than…We WERE NOT ready to leave! If you choose Casa de Vida Feliz, you won’t be disappointed!

Casa De Vida Feliz was the perfect place to stay for our 10 day vacation. Communication with the owner and property manager was wonderful from beginning to end. The room was clean and had all of your basic amenities. Cold air conditioning and hot water was a big plus! For being right in the heart of Centro the casa was actually surprisingly quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed listening to the live music from the patio in the evenings. Usually done by midnight or so. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
The Ballena Suite is an outstanding place to stay for couples. Everything you would want, plenty of space, prime location, safe & secure, and the back patio and pool are much more impressive in person as is the entire suite. You will be glad you booked the Ballena Suite!!
We loved our stay in this clean and calm apartment in the heart of Isla! Whether we were headed to the beach, strolling the malecon or off to dinner the location was perfect! The easy communication and quick responses with our host made our stay doubly enjoyable. Highly recommend this amazing space for a fun and relaxing stay on the beautiful island.
The room we got was perfect. Nice little balcony with privacy if you want it. We weren’t able to use the pool, as the keys we were given didn’t work in the lock (found out the pool is only for the first floor), but the beach was 5 minutes away so there was never a need for it. Great location, very secure, and all the hot water you can handle in the shower. We will likely stay here again.

The location is great. Private rooftop was nice. There was an issue with the jacuzzi tub not heating the water which the host tried very hard to have fixed. Unfortunately they were unable to fix it during our stay but the host very kindly refunded some of the money for our stay for the inconvenience. The host was very professional and communication was great. Very good Customer service.

Nice, clean place and 1/2 block to several restaurants and just a couple blocks to north beach. When we had issues with jacuzzi heating up and lost wi-fi, Vicki and Ana ( on island managers) were quick to respond and went beyond expectations to accommodate our needs during our stay.
This might be the best place to stay on the whole island! The location is unbeatable and the hosts are completely on top of it. We informed them the hot tub was not working and it was fixed almost immediately. They helped every possible juncture. The rooftop is so baller.
The location was perfect! A five minute walk to the beach, and just steps from our favorite places on the island…Olivia, Soul Sisters, and of course Elements of the Island for amazing breakfasts. Both the room and the outdoor deck are big beautiful spaces, even nicer than the pictures indicate.

Fantastic spot right in the heart of downtown Isla. Very communicative host, answered right away. We also enjoyed sitting on the private patio and listening to the music. The room is VERY clean. Overall, great value for the nightly rate.
This is a great place. Close to the best beaches and night life. It can be noisy at night due to the bars and clubs, but earplugs worked wonders. I would stay here again.
Sol Rooftop at Casa de Vida Feliz was great! The location was on a quiet street steps away from all the great bars and restaurants. The beach was a block away as well. The jacuzzi was relaxing! A most wonderful stay!
My husband and I stayed here as the second stay on our honeymoon and loved it! MThis place was very nice and everything as described. Check-in was quick and our hosts made themselves available to call if we needed anything, even helped us out to find out the ferry times when we didn’t have access. The room was cleaned daily and water replaced promptly when it ran out. The private rooftop jacuzzi made the place even nicer. Great experience!
This was a beautiful rooftop apartment in the perfect neighborhood in the middle of Isla Mujeres’ central district. It was close to everything, but the street it was in was quieter than most which was nice. The hosts were very responsive to everything we asked for. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and a very large container of water was provided for us when we checked in. This was definitely nicer than the hotel we stayed at on the island prior to coming here. The only minor issue we had was with how long it took to fill the hot tub on the roof terrace. But patience is a virtue on vacation. We would definitely stay here again!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights. It was our first trip to Isla and we were a little skeptical about it being new without many reviews, but it was outstanding. Great location, short walk to Playa Norte and even shorter walk to all the restaurants and shops. The place itself was very cute, clean and the perfect amount of space for us. The patio was great. We sat outside for hours at night looking at the stars and relaxed in the jacuzzi. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay on the island.

Great room, very clean and with nice touches (hammocks at the balcony and inside the room). All appliances and elements in the unit were new and worked great. I definitely recommend it. Wifi is a bit slow but I believe this is an issue throughout the island

Location is amazing! It’s on a quite street, but extremely close to everything and a couple blocks from their best beaches! Check-in and check-out was extremely easy. Room had everything we could possibly need and it was super clean. We even got extra towels immediately when we requested them! Totally would stay here again.

We loved our stay at Delfin in Casa de Vida Feliz. The studio was airy and large/comfortable enough for 2 people, we loved the hammock and small private balcony in the back, and we appreciated that purified water was provided for us. Charming decor, our hosts provided lots of recommendations for local places to eat, and the studio is in a great location (a short walk to food/drink/Playa Norte). FYI: there can be a little traffic noise, but most of it was covered up by the white noise from the A/C unit. Would highly recommend this Airbnb.
Place is super clean, two block from playa Norte (which is the best beach as for public space to enjoy and concerning sargasso), great WiFi and a/c, interiors are new and everything worked really well. Big up for Nancy who checked us in and advised a great cheap Loncheria nearby called la Negrita.
The Ballena suite is just fantastic. It is spotlessly clean, great location, super quiet and well appointed. If I owned a condo in Isla Mujeres this is exactly the type of place I would want.
